Issue

Hello,
First time using Xibo, really liking it so far!
The nature of the digital signage I am installing means it can’t really be scheduled as such and it needs to be idiot proof for the end user.
There is a general campaign that runs all the time, but certain screens need to show a different campaign at the touch of a button. And of course change back on another button.
Is it possible to either record a macro or somehow fire a command from a button on a web interface or otherwise to say “On click, in the schedule set display X 's current campaign to campaign A”.
Is there a way to do this in Xibo? Or even change the scheduled campaign via the commandline?

Welcome to the community, that’s great to hear!

You could use the API: https://xibo.org.uk/manual/api/#/displayGroup/displayGroupActionChangeLayout either directly from something like Postman or build a web page with buttons that would have a script executed on click.
