# Xibo for Android | v4 R406 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of Xibo for Android v4 R406. This release will connect to a v4 content management system. It will connect to an earlier CMS in legacy mode. If you are upgrading your network from v1/v2/v3 we recommend [upgrading your CMS first](https://xibosignage.com/docs/setup/upgrading-the-cms).
