I have install my xibo cms 1.7.5 on my server but after I install, I have notice that there is not navigation show in left side.
I have assign any page security and menu security for that user already but it still not show.
Can you help to guide me something? I have spent 1 day to check but still not work.

That does look slightly odd, however in 1.7 series the permissions were different than in current 1.8 release.
Could you double check that this user has permissions to this navigation menu ie
Users page → Menu Security on that user → Top Nav:
Any particular reason why have you installed 1.7.5 instead of 1.7.10 for example?
Because I have experience on that. I used to install 1.7.5 and it 2 year ago and it doesn’t have any problem like this.

As far as I remember, the Top Nav permissions were what was needed for a user to see the left menu.
It is certainly possible that there were issues in 1.7.5, I’d strongly suggest upgrade to 1.7.10
^ installation / upgrading process between those two version is exactly the same.
You will need to fix the permissions to the Xibo folder.
Which web server are you using please?

I have set permission to xibo foller as chown -r 777 already, but it still doesn’t work.

I am using xibo cms 1.7.10 and i use player 1.7.9.
After i assign layout to the display and I let it auto download itself. It seem like take so long 20mn or 30mn to finish only one image. I just need it take only 3mn or 5mn to download to play for only small image.
What can i do with this problem ? Do you have any idea?
Is the permission / navigation menu issue solved now?
In 1.7 series players relies solely on the collection interval to communicate with CMS and to get new content / schedule from it.
Depending on this setting it may delay new content from showing up on your player.
Next item is the duration of your layouts, player will show updated content once it reloads the layout, which happens when the region with longest duration ends.
You can have a look in:
Display Settings -> Edit display profile assigned to your display -> Advanced tab -> Expire modified layouts
If you enable this option player will cut the layout playback once it has the new content ready.
