Xibo 2.3.0 migration /installation error

Hi,

I have Xibo CMS running on debian Apache for a couple of years. When i tried to migrate from 2.2 version to 2.3.0 Migration failed with the message:
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1364 Field ‘edit’ doesn’t have a default value

I tried fresh installation on MX Linux and I am getting same error message.

What seems to be wrong here?

Sorry, its a bug if you use MySQL 5.7 - we’re working on a fix:

could possibily by DATABASE issue during the transition of base file swapping

Hi all,

I have checked version of db on both Debian buster and MX linux.
One is running Mariadb 10.3.18 the other Mariadb 10.3.22 both report mysql version 15.1

I’m not sure about how MariaDB versions match up - but i’d say there is a good chance thats the issue. There is a patch in the above GitHub link.
