Windows v4 R407 Released

Hi everyone,

We are pleased to announce our latest Windows release - v4 R407. This release includes 10 fixes.

Fixes

• Embedded widget is not cleaned up if it has only
• Enable Large Address aware to allow more memory usage
• Fatal error initialising the application: HRESULT 0xD0000003
• Invalid layout (corrupted XLF) causes permanent splash screen
• Memory Leak (svchost.exe/Audiosrv)
• Use code onboarding CMS URL/key not persisted
• WebView2 (edge): Recover broken webview
• Windows Player crashes, possible memory leak
• XfW: Overlay Layouts stays on top of Interrupt Layout
• XMR: incorrectly reported status when connected via WebSocket

Hello all,

Not sure if anyone is experiencing the same issue, seems like the XMR is not working with the player. I am using CMS 4.4.4 and XMR 1.3, tried player windows 4 R404.1-404 and 4 R406.3-406 with no issues on the XMR.

For this version, every time I change my layout, the XMR logs stated “Display -*displayID- not connected”, but the thing is the displayID in the logs doesn’t align with the one I have in my display. I did tried to change the displayID in my display to fit the one mention in the logs, but again the log is not showing the correct displayID. Any idea?

Hi Akram,

I have created a post regarding this issue. It appears to only affect certain conditions. Directly connecting to non-secured websockets on a local network works fine.

XMR Websocket Connection Through Cloudflare

CMS Version 4.4.4 Player Type Windows Player Version v4 R407.2 Issue I have a manual install of Xibo CMS but am unable to use websockets with the Windows player through Cloudflare. I have the websockets address in the CMS set to wss://xibo-ws.example.com, I have also tried to set the port to 443 and it never connects. It does connect if on the same local network and it is set to ws://[IP address]:8080 When going over the Internet it is passed through Cloudflare and then a HAProxy server. I…

So are you running your xibo CMS on port 8080 and using haproxy as a reverse proxy on your gateway/firewall/pfsense kind of thing?
