What to write instead of CMS Adress?

Hi everybody,

I want to realize digital signage via Xibo software on some TV screens. I’ve downloaded xibo-server-170-rc1.tar, xibo-client-1.7.4-win32-x86 and installed Xibo. However, I’ve inserted nothing in CMS Address and key when Xibo Player Options window has opened although I gave some admin user key during an installation. Then I’ve tried to add a display IP and Mac Address. However,as it is possible only from the client side, I have started to install Xibo client server on another computer. But I don’t know what I must insert as a CMS address and key by a side of client. (I’ve not done it also by a side of server)

I’m a new in Xibo topic. Will be glad for any help.

Please can you use the latest release instead of an old release candidate? Your experience will be much better.

Your CMS Address is the network address of whereever you’ve installed your CMS. So if you are testing locally this will be http://<<your ip>>/<<xibo folder>>/

Hello, I have kind of the same problem here so I tag along.

for the CMS adress, I’ve put http:// <<>xxx.x.x.x>>/xibo

But it doesn’t work…“Impossible to access the server”. Is it the localhost adresse or the IP…? I’m lost…

The key is correct… Did I skip a step ?

What address do you use to access the CMS installation in your browser (the one you used during installation?) - that will be the address to put in your player.
