Updating Xibo CMS Version 1.8.9 Ubuntu 16.04 Server

Hi guys,
I am new to Xibo CMS and docker concept.
I set up Xibo CMS on a docker years ago and haven’t touched to it since then.
There are over 50 displays been running on that CMS. However, now I want to update the CMS that runs on that server (server runs with Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS).
My current Xibo CMS Version is 1.8.9

Issue is I could not find any specific guideline that explains updating the CMS that runs on Ubuntu. Most of them just about installation not updating it.

Can anyone provide any information about this, please?

https://xibo.org.uk/docs/setup/upgrade-xibo-for-docker-install try this link…but my advise is, try to ugrade from 1.8.9 to a 1.8.12 CMS then check into it…check that all is fine, then after, upgrade from 1.8.12 to 2.3.0 or 2.2.2.
