Unable to push content

I have setup Xibo server on windows server 2008. I am using a windows client. I am able to register the client device. When I launch the player on the client I get the default screen “welcome to Xibo…” I added a new region to the default layout but the changes do not show up on the client. I see that the files are copied to the client machine folder but they do not play.

Any idea?

Have a look at the FAQ on this initially:

Problem: Layout will not play / the splash screen is shown instead of playing the Layout. Cause: Xibo requires all Layouts to contain something to show. For a Layout to be valid to play on a Xibo Player, it must meet the following criteria: Must have at least one Region on the Layout All Regions on the Layout must have at least one valid Media item on it If the Layout doesn’t meet that specification, then the Player won’t attempt to run the Layout and so the Layout will be missing from you…

If not some more information about exactly what’s on the layout and a screenshot of the Player information screen will be needed please.

I was able to get it working by reinstalling the site. It must have been a corrupt installation.
