Trying to connect Android device to CMS and I get Unable to Register due to Error: Http Request Failed, HTTP status:500

Everything seems to check out on the server side, so I’m truly stuck.

Doublecheck your connection and make sure you put the whole url when you try to register “http://www.example.com/yo/”

Everything is checked and still no luck see image below. The funny thing is I can see the android box in the CMS under displays… Strange.

500 http error itself is not really telling us much about the issue.

You’d need to check your web server logs for more details.

We checked web servers logs and no errors came up on the server side.Any other suggestions?

Check the CMS logs.

As a wild guess, do you have a display group called “Android”? If so, try renaming it.

Check your web server’s or more accurate your PHP logs. A 500 error means almost certainly there is a PHP/setup issue and Xibo probably doesn’t even get as far as putting something in the database.
