I am facing an issue with the Text Widget inside the Layout designer. I prepared 4 layouts. Within the 4th layout I have got the problem, that the CMS is not saving my formatting for the text widget. I want my text to be wrapped at the end of the line oand to be left headed. But after clicking on “publish” the cms reloads and shows my text with the initial format (unwrapped and center headed). Is there somwthing I can do? I mean the text widget should be a very basic and good working tool.
Could you give further details as to the exact steps you are taking when this occurs? I have attempted to recreate on a cloud hosted CMS and all is working as expected.
Are you copying a Layout? Or is it from a Template? Are you setting Publish Now or setting a date? If you have screenshots that would also be a help.
Are you self-hosting? What environment are you using?

The Layout is copied from my first layout. I just cleared some details and added the new text widgets.
Attachment pic 1 is showing you my last view before I hit the upper right task “Veröffentlichen”, which is german for "publish. The text widgets are wrapped and some are centered. After hitting the button the view reloads and I see the widgets with their initial format setup. This appears with Chrome browser as well as with Firefox browser.
I can recreate your issue on my instance with the problem appearing to be when you duplicate a text element and change settings in the configuration panel, this is not being obeyed.
I shall pass this onto our dev team for a closer look.
Hi, same issue with v4.2.2. I’m docker selfhosted. It happens when you use severals Text Widget, change properties for example Text Wrap, no bold , then add an image, Text Widget goes back to.
One think hard now that appears with this version, is the text widget is cloned to the lastest text widget you put, don’t know if there’s a link.
