Text not displaying on Android P

Hey Guys, I have a peculiar issue with xibo that i can’t seem to find in the forums.

I have Xibo 2.0.1 CMS Installed on CENT OS 7 Using an apache reverse proxy for SSL. I’m still in the testing phase with 4 android clients connected and the same layouts scheduled on each.

1), MINIX NEO - Which has android M
2) TX6 which has Android P.
3) Bluestacks Emulator - android O
4) Huawai Cellphone - Android P
All four I have the trial version of the android app installed for testing.

Now On the Minix and Bluestacks All of the layouts load fine. XMR is working perfectly, If i make any changes they are reflected on the displays immediately.

For the TX6 and my Huawai XMR dosent seem to be working because I need to wait on the collection Interval to see any changes made.
In addition to this TEXT does not show at all. Only Pictures, Videos, Overlay Layouts (images).

I have no idea how to troubleshoot further. Any advice?

Unfortunately after testing Android 9 with the Xibo Player, there are some issues that have been discovered that will need to be resolved. The issues you have mentioned have been added to the report for the Development team to review and fix.

Thank you very much for passing on this information, in the meantime you will need to use an alternative version of Android to ensure the Player performs correctly. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
