Task "Fetch Remote DataSets" skip my DataSet

Hi

I have defined a remote DataSet including the appropriate column definition with a positve Result while use “test the data url” in the dataset definition mask which show me the processed entries of the json result. I have a layout which use these DataSet in a Dataset Ticker Widget. This layout is assigned to a display and scheduled. The task to fetch the remote DataSets skips my DataSet with the log message

Skipping dataSet 2 due to it not being accessed recently

Also the manually start of this task produce these message. What can I Do that the task to fetch the DataSets should not skip my DataSet.

I’m using the latest docker images of xibo and all other xibo functions should work like a charm.

Thank you for your message and information. Can you confirm what version of CMS and Player you are using?

I have been testing this issue for the last few days and discovered there is an issue with the Fetch Remote Dataset Task not consistently retrieving the data. As you have found I also discovered in the Audit Logs that this is happening because the Task is skipping the Dataset because it does not see that the Dataset is being used/accessed.

Here is a link to the Report I have created, the Development team will work on a fix for a future release of Xibo.

I’m using the 2.0.3 xibo docker images with the latest windows player v2 R200.

Thanks for checking and confirming my problem. I will still wait for the fix in the next release.
