Xibo itself does not limit that, however obviously the more screens the more load on the server, it will also depend on, if the stats are enabled, log level, collection interval, type of content, amount of content, content updates, notify layout etc.
It is very hard to tell you the exact number of players you can connect to a server and maintain sensible performance, especially without knowing anything about your server.
