Schedule with broken schedules and screens not updating

Im currently testing an installation, 1.8.0 docker.
One day layouts were working correctly, yesterday the layouts stopped rotating the way they had been.

Restarted client, no joy.
Restarted server, no joy.
Deleted all layouts in the CMS, some deleted, but some remain after being deleted, subsequently clicking them results in the UI reporting “not found”.
To date I can still see them in the sheduler, but not delete them. with the same error as above.

log debug shows that appears to be the client having issues getting the schedule too:

is there a way of resetting the schedule?

What is the server running on? Windows or Linux?

If Windows, Docker for Windows or Docker Toolbox?

Sorry, i should have said! Its Linux.

First try deleting the CMS cache

sudo rm -r shared/cms/library/cache/*

Does that clear the records in the CMS?
