I know that there are several topics about RSS images not being displayed. However I’m encountering a different issue with it. In Xibo Player the text of the RSS feed is updated fine. However images are not always shown. As soon as I open the layout designer in the CMS the images are downloaded and then also shown in the player. However when new RSS items are added to the feed the according image isn’t downloaded. I have to reopen the designer and then it shows just fine in the player.
As a temporary workaround I have the designer open in a browser window with an auto refresh. Now the images on the screen are showing fine, but when I close this screen new images aren’t shown anymore.
