## Player Version: linux 1.8-R6-108

## Issue

I am seeing high processor load values when a video is playing on our Linux displays running an AMD processor with 8 cores and 8GB ram. Is there a way to (temporarily?) use vlc instead of player to help determine if we can use less-than-brand-new hardware? Or is “player” just a wrapper for vlc or another program?

Thanks. And thanks for Xibo!
