Raspberry PI, Emteria and XIBO

I’m just testing Emteria Android and the XIBO player seems to be working really well, including videos.
Has anyone else tried this setup? Just wondering if it’ll all fall apart after a couple of hours. :eyes:

Hi,

just curious, Did it fall apart?
I am a beginner with this, and thats why I am just asking: Does this work on raspberry Pi?
If yes, do you need a license and which one?

Regards, Peter

I let it run for a few days, it was fine.
It’s using the Emteria trial license (reboots after 8 hours) and a trial license for the Android Xibo client.
The Emteria trial also puts a nag screen up, so I can’t test it in a public area.
I’ve ordered a new PI to run a longer test and will probably license both for this, it’s not expensive.
The setup we have at the moment is not too complex - a few slides, a few short video clips and a news/weather feed. When I get the new one I will try a more complex setup to see how it copes.
