Hello. I received the Xibo system under my care. In the local network I have a Xibo server hardware and Android players. On one of the screens I see prices that users edit every day. Data sets are used for these prices. I have created a dataset called “price list”. In this “price list” dataset, I have two columns: “service” and “price”. In the data in this dataset I have several service names and associated prices, e.g. drink. I have a layout and a ticker is attached to it in a specific position.
Ticker: dataset is price list
In it, I have the filter in the tab:
equals drink service
In apperance I have the following in the text window:
[Price | 42]
“Price” is one of the columns in the “price list” data set. If I change the price for a given “drink”, this value is automatically displayed.
I don’t know what 42 in [price | 42] means, but it’s important.
When I make a new data set, configure it and assign it to the layout, it doesn’t work. I have no data returned. I think the problem is in this issue 42 because it is somehow assigned to a data set. Just how to check which number is assigned to a new data set? Well, I think I understand something wrong with this number 42.
