Browser needs to load the whole video from the CMS to show it, it might not be quick, it’s not an optimal way to show videos, on the players it should run fine, as player downloads the video and stores it locally.

As I mentioned, layout preview is not ideal to show videos as that entirely based on the browser and the videos it can support + the load time might be long on bigger videos.
The best way to see how does that look like on the player is to schedule the layout to your display instead of previewing it in the browser.
