Player shows "Please wait..." continuously

Hi,

I’m quite new to Xibo. Sorry if I’m missing something obvious.

Our customer reports that one (out of 17 displays) continuously shows “Please wait…” on screen while the schedule is running in the background
The player in question is online, reports no issues, and regularly contacts the service. No problems to be found with the Layout or Schedule either.

Running Xibo cloud -Xibo Digital Signage v 2.3.4
Windows 10 device with windows player version windows 2 R252.6-252 (?) according to the CMS.

If anyone has an idea, please let me know what to check since I have no physical or remote access to the device and will have to request the customer for an on-site visit.

I believe you sent a message to our service desk about this too.

If so, I believe the message is an on-screen menu from the TV and unrelated to Xibo.

Thanks for your help, and sorry for the late reply.
Upon reception of your answer I suggested the customer to shutdown/restart his TV set and let me know. I’m still waiting for a reply. If I do get one, I’ll let you know.

And yes, I also posted this question to the support desk.
