# Player goes black after content update

I’m Running XIBO on Linux (Ubuntu) most recent version.  
The player is autostarted and showing content as expected.

When I update the layout on the server and the player gets the new content. The screen goes black.

The player is still running, after a kill and restart of the player it’s showing the content as expected.

I’ve tried a lot with settings and so on, until now no solution. I think it’s a bug in the player.

The version of the player (via snap) is 4.0.7 rev 253, latets/edge, xibosignage
