Player failed to connect to Xibo 1.8.11

Installed Xibo with Docker on CentOS 7.

This is the error when the player started, Status
The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine

I have checked and no https forced. I can log into the portal just fine. And everything seems to be correct.

Can you provide a screenshot of the error as well as a screenshot of the Status screen on the Player. You can access the Status screen on Android by clicking on the screen while the app is running and choosing Status from the Action Bar at the top. With Windows, you need to click the i key on your keyboard while the Xibo app is running.

Can you also confirm the Version of the Player you have installed?

Many Thanks.

player version 1.8.10

here is status

There is an error on your Status page that has been cut short by the edge of the Status window. Can you confirm the entire error message please?

Many Thanks.

it says…cound not find file “C:\Users\cha\Documents\Xibo Library\requiredFiles.xml” I verified and there is no such file anywhere

According to your Player Options screenshot, you are trying to connect to your CMS on port 9505, which is the default port for XMR. If you have set custom ports and your CMS is listening on port 9505, I would recommend using a different port for your CMS and keeping port 9505 for XMR.

If you have not set a custom port, I would recommend removing :9505 from the CMS address field. If you are using default port, you do not need to specify a port to connect on.

Once you have removed the :9505 from the CMS address, please confirm if the issue persists.

Many Thanks.

It works by just remove the port number on the player. Fantastic!

Glad to hear the issue is resolved.

Many Thanks.
