# Pie Charts in 4.07

Do charts (pie, bar, other) still exist in cms 4.07? I just got to the point of importing data into the database, and I can’t create a pie chart anymore. ☹

Maintaining the chart module was time consuming and we saw no examples of it being used, so we did not bring the feature forward into v4, where it would have needed a suite of custom controls created.
What we saw instead was a steady stream of requests for various dashboard services (such as PowerBI), so we created a secure dashboard offering instead: [Xibo Dashboard Service | Xibo Digital Signage](https://xibosignage.com/docs/setup/xibo-dashboard-service)
We have since had 3 (now 4) requests to bring some form of built in charting back to Xibo, and we’re collecting those requests here: [Chart Module in v4](https://community.xibo.org.uk/t/chart-module-in-v4/31130). I will add this link to the same topic.

Thanks. Did the ability to use custom HTML go away with the dataset updates too?

You can still add custom HTML/JS/CSS, but in a more structured way: [Layout Editor Evolution in v4](https://community.xibo.org.uk/t/layout-editor-evolution-in-v4/29872#htmlcss-8)
Then based on feedback we have reintroduced a UI in the CMS for doing it: [Key improvements for 4.1](https://community.xibo.org.uk/t/key-improvements-for-4-1/30483#htmlcss-2)
CMS 4.1.0-rc1 is available to try with the above included.
