Meeting room layout based on iCal feed stopped working

Issue

I have a layout that displays meeting room usage based on an Outlook iCal feed. Some weeks ago the usage indicated empty. In the CMS when I edit the layout I see the message “The iCal provided is not valid, please choose a valid feed”.

When I enter the url in a browser I get a valid iCal file. And also from the CMS server a valid iCal feed is returned.

How can I debug this, what goes wrong?

After further investigation I found that all my widgets were not working on all displays (getData: Failed to get data cache for widgetId 6, e = Cache not ready). I think I solved it by adding:

$allowLocalNetworkRequests = true;

To settings.php (SSRF block).
