I’m replacing our older Xibo installation with a new version and we’ve moved from a Windows Server running XAMP to Ubuntu with Docker.
With our older setup we had some local HTML files which are created from a Excel spreadsheet and automatically saved to a shared folder inside the XAMP root directory. This meant we could load them in Xibo layouts as webpages.
Now we’re using Ubuntu & Docker and wonder if this is still possible in anyway?
The bits I’m stuck on at the moment are:
- Where to put the .htm files?
- How to allow a windows domain access to this location
Has anyone got any advice for doing this? I tried loading the pages using the file:// link rather than using a web server but the page doesn’t load despite the link working on my browser fine.
