Linux player not displaying notices Webpage

Hi, I am currently trying to run this Webpage and have it display on the Linux player. It can be previewed on the CMS but it only shows a white blank screen on the player. I have inserted a picture to cycle to and it shows up fine.

I am getting a console message saying:

console message: https://notices.ignatius.sa.edu.au/efbe7279d47/lib.js @1: syntaxError: Unexpected token ‘>’

I don’t know if this is just a limitation of the Linux web browser or if there is something I’m missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the rest of Xibo looks great but its pivotal that the notices are used for signage and will decide what system I go with.
