Hello,
I am having an issue where the media disappears after the schedule for the layout ends. This xibo install is running on Windows 10 enterprise and the player is running on the same machine. I followed the advice of one of the staff members(Peter) on making sure the media folder is different from the xibo player media folder. I actually uninstalled the player and reinstalled it These are the respective folders:
Xibo media library: C:\Users\Public\Documents\xibomedia
Xibo Player media folder location: C:\Users\Public\Documents\xiboplayermedia
What is strange is while the files in the media library disappear from the folder, they are still showing up in the web admin interface library page, but when you try to download them they say they are 0 KB.
I do have the maintenance.php on task scheduler to run once a day. I wouldn’t think that it would delete files that are still in layouts even though they aren’t on an active display schedule. It seems that they stay as long as they are on an active schedule. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? Thanks in advance for any advice.
