Layout plays before files have downloaded

This is part of the problem - it should list 2591.ppt as a dependent of this layout - unless we are actually testing your default layout?

It still shouldn’t fail without that there, so I will be taking another look at this today.

I think i’ve spotted the issue - can you try a new EXE? Same link as before.

Looking good! I’ve tested with the new .exe this morning, and the client switches to and holds the splash screen until all files including large powerpoint ones are downloaded, then plays them correctly! I’ll test on a few more displays over the next few days, but this is looking promising.
Would this fix be included in future release or do I need to hold off on any upgrades?

Fab, sounds like we nailed it.

It will be included in the 1.7.5 release which may well be today or tomorrow.
