Is Xibo still supported

Hi All.
I am looking at setting up digital signage for a charity.
Is Xibo still supported and relevant?

Yes, Xibo is definitely still supported, a lot of features and changes were made in the 1.8 release.

Currently there are 3 supported players - Xibo for Windows, Android and webOS.
In the future there will also be Xibo for Linux as well as new Xibo for Windows player (both currently in development)

We also have a new website, which you’re very welcome to check out here - https://xibo.org.uk/about

The upcoming v2 release will also come with lots of changes and new features.

I’d say it is still relevant, perhaps more so than it ever was.

If you have any specific questions please do create a new topic about them.
If you have any sales queries please see - https://app.xibo.org.uk/shop
You can also contact Spring Signage directly with your sales queries if needed.

Hey. Great thank you.

I think initially when I came to one part of the forum I came across old content.

The main questions where:

  1. Pricing. How is gt priced?
  2. I want to use it as a menu for a take away. Is there a way the customer can do their own updates to items and prices?
  3. If I make a static menu (an image) can I overlay moving or flashing content?
  4. I am also developing some screens for charities. Is there a way of
    a. Doing a full extract of all associated content and settings so I can import into their server.
    b. Having a licence type that is free to allow me to demo their display before they commit to the licence purchase.
  5. When will version 2 be released? - if I purchased this week, could I get a free upgrade?

Thanks

I’ve replied to these questions in your separate topic about them.
