# How to use registerdisplay function with CMS API call

I want to register the display directly before the client login but I don’t know how.

What is the use case here please?

In any case, you can call register display directly, same as with other xmds calls - [https://xibo.org.uk/manual/en/xmds.html](https://xibo.org.uk/manual/en/xmds.html)

I’m not yet a wsdl pro but I’m trying to run the registerDisplay method directly in postman for testing.  
I write in the URL {{url}} / xmds.php? v = 5 & method = registerDisplay but Bad Request.  
what should I add to complete the application.

after, i will create an interface that will drive xibo deported.
