How to upgrade my Android Player


I have just one simple question, for which I can’t find an answer.
I am using Xibo in the Cloud, and locally a Android Player (Android 7.1.2) and Client V2 R201.
How do I update the Client on the Player?
Tried it via this link, waited one night (service window should be between 22.00 and 03.00 hrs), but nothing seems to have changed.

I hope that someone can point me in the right direction.

Hi, we have identified an issue with from and to dates, which may be the reason behind your issue. Could you try updating without ‘an update window’ to see if that resolves your issue, and let us know the outcome?

I have removed the service windows. I assume that is what you are talking about?

Do I have to force the update, or just wait “till it happens”?
(Sorry for maybe the silly question, but I have no experience with this update process.)

Hi Peter,

When you make a change to the update interval the Player will not be aware of that change until it connects to the CMS on the next collection. You can force it with a collect now.
