How to Livestream?

We want to stream an event to our 25 Android displays (Android 4.4.4. Kitkat).

The displays are connected to different LANs. We are using Spring Signage hosted CMS solution v 1.8.4.

Has anybody managed to show a livestream on Xibo Android displays? How? What services do we need? Can we stream to Twitch, Youtube or other services and publish the stream to our displays?

Ideally you will want to create a RTSP stream and put the url to it in the localVideo module in Xibo.

I think you could also do a livestream on YouTube and then put that in Xibo - since it’s android it would be best to use this - Autoplay Embedded Youtube Videos
