I am trying to put in a series of web links for the company I support. Some of the links are .htm and some are .aspx. The htm weblinks are displaying fine but the aspx files are throwing a large error instead of displaying. I am able to get the link to display fine in IE but the cms browser layout view and the Xibo player are unale to open it.
Which CMS and player are you using please?
Are all these links added via webpage module with open natively?
Iām using cms 1.8.9 and using the Windows player. I have found out that the player will load aspx files but I have only been successful with one page and none of the others. It appears to be the content that is loaded in with the page that is throwing the error.
Also yes they are set to open natively.
I have found the fix. The link in question had a space in it that got filled to a %. In Xibo this still through and error but this was fixed by adding a %20 where the space once was.
