Failure on one Samsung/Tizen Device - unable to (re)load content

Hi all,

i have one Samsung/Tizen-Device here having issues. I only plays its basic-default layout, but the scheduled content (that any other display in it´s group is actually playing as it should) does not come.
in the Device-Overview it is listed with a red “2” in the Faults column.

These are

4404 {“msg”:“Uncaught ReferenceError: file is not defined”,“url”:“file:///js/CacheMgr.js”,“lineNo”:256,“columnNo”:71,“error”:“{}”}

and

4404 {“msg”:“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘forEach’)”,“url”:“file:///js/LayoutMgr.js”,“lineNo”:2071,“columnNo”:34,“error”:“{}”}

Is there anything i can do, to get this back working ?

What i did so far:

  • Restart of the Device and the Tizen Player
  • Upgrade of CMS to 4.4.4
  • Re - Schedule Layouts / Change current Schedule .

none of this worked.

In the meantime the first of these Errors also appeared on a second Device in the same Group.
Kind regards,

Markus

Same issue here. I started seeing the exact same errors on one of our Samsung/Tizen players. Interestingly, the player still seems to work normally and continues to play the scheduled content without any visible issues.

In my case, the error message eventually disappeared by itself after some time, without any additional action. So it might be a temporary issue or something related to the player cache/background processes.

I’m also curious if anyone has more information about these errors or knows what exactly is causing them.
