# Docker CMS 4.5.2 - all Display IPs report 172.18.0.1

To be completed by the original poster:

# CMS Version

Docker 4.5.2

# Installation Method

Docker

# Operating System

Ubuntu 24

# Issue

Since upgrading our 4.4 to 4.5.2 via Docker, all displays are connected but report the same IP’s in the CMS \> Displays area: 172.18.0.1

Is anyone else seeing this? Up until 4.5.2 the IP’s have always shown their correct IP’s.

I had a discussion with Claude on this topic and I was able to solve it by adding this line near the end of /opt/xibo/shared/cms/custom/settings-custom.php:

`$trustedProxyIps = '172.18.0.1';`

After restarting the cms-web container (`docker compose restart cms-web`) the correct IP addresses were shown after the next collect cycle.

settings-custom.php doesn’t change on upgrade.
