Display not adding to CMS 1.8 Beta

Hi,

I am facing problem with one system. Display is not listing in CMS 1.8. When i click on the client it shows Awaiting administrator approval, but CMS does not show/list the client. I was previously running 1.7.8 on this system. Did a clean uninstall including manually deleting the xiboconfig.xml file and then reinstalling 1.8 version client. Also tried changing the display id manually but still the problem persist.

But the same system is working with 1.7.8 client and 1.7.8 CMS version.

I wonder if that’s only browser cache issue.
You could try to clear the cache / use different browser.

You can also check if display is correctly added in the database, if it is then it’s most likely browser issue.

Thanks peter, it was really a cache issue. I normally use chrome. Strangely never faced similar situation in 1.7.8 cms version. Tried out in edge, its working fine.
