When the run.sh starts, the fonts load approx 5 sec, later than the images.
So following prolem is the difference between the image switch and font-text switch.
Is there any possibility to fix it ?
It definitely shouldn’t be 5s difference.
Which player version are you using please?
What’s the device’s spec?
Im using Raspberry 2, with a Raspian Image.
the System is downloaded by http://bit.ly/1T3wvYl, this is a pre confed image by rpiserver breggennl …
It´s running well except this fault.
It’s because the RPi isn’t powerful enough to run a Player. I have tried to explain this to you in your last thread.
The time lag you see is the amount of time it takes the RPi to load a web browser to show the text, render it, and then composite it on the screen.
There is no further development on the old Linux Player that you are using. If you want support for your system from the development team, then you need to use a supported configuration.
The HTML emb. and the images are isntant there.
Then PLEASE tell me how i would fix it with a “supported coniguration”.
And i dont need that information with raspi, not powerful the 3rd time …
I have to use it for this project at my job.
thanks
For an HTML embed, the whole text and image load together since they’re one web browser.
A supported configuration, would be an x86/x64 Windows PC running the Windows Player, or an Android device running a licenced copy of Xibo for Android.
The RPi cannot be made to work, as I have explained to you before. If that is a prerequisite from your job, then you should look for some digital signage software that supports the hardware you have to use. Xibo isn’t suitable for you at the present time.
The software you are using was end of lifed more than two years ago now. We do not provide support for it.
