Hi,

Just picked up a client and they were running an OLD version of Xibo and no access the the cms. I have received the files from there computer but how can I import the files into a CMS that I have setup?

Thank you for your message. Can you confirm:

  • What version of the Xibo Player?
  • What version is the CMS?
  • Are you currently able to access the CMS you have set up?
  • What files have you received? Are they media files?

If they are media files, you should be able to add them to the Media Library of your CMS by logging in, selecting the Media option and clicking on the Add Media button. You can then select those files you want to import into your CMS.

  1. Xibo Player 1.7.9
  2. Xibo CMS that I have setup is 1.8.9

tells me its a unsupport file .

Any other way to use the files on client machine?
