Conflicto con perro guardián y 2 instancias

I have 1 player and 2 screens. I have configured 2 instances 2 screens. The second instance closes after 30 seconds and only one remains active.

I think there is conflict with guardian dog, maybe it does not support 2 instances running at the same time. What I can do? Thank you very much.

At a guess the Embedded webserver port is the same for both players which causes a conflict, please see - https://xibo.org.uk/manual/en/install_windows_client_multiple.html

Regarding multiple watchdogs, we will want to make it more user friendly ie make one watchdog instance to monitor multiple Xibo player Instances.

For now, you’d need to follow the instructions in the manual, then if you do need to have 2 watchdogs running, you’d also need to rename the watchdog and watchdog config files in the second player folder (and 2 to their names for example), it will not start automatically with the player, but you can start it manually if needed, it would then monitor the second player - assuming you also make the changes to the watchdog config explained in the manual.
Technically you could have the second watchdog to startup with Windows (it should start the player too, I believe)

Hi. Effectively the problem was a port conflict between the instances, I made the adjustments on the server and on the client. I leave an image of the configuration that solved the problem in the client. Now it works perfect, thank you and happy day.

I’d highly recommend to change the embedded web server port in Display Settings -> Edit display profile -> Advanced tab.

You should not really change the config files manually, especially that they will get overwritten from CMS.

I actually made the changes on the server. Thanks to your help, the system is working perfectly. Thank you very much.
