# CMS Key keeps changing on 1.8.3

I had been running Xibo on a Win 10 computer for several years. Recently I wiped my install and started over with Xibo 1.8.3 on docker. Since then every time my Win 10 machine reboots, the CMS secret key changes and my players lose their connection. Any ideas on what is going on?

The CMS will loose its configuration on reboot with Docker on Windows (due to a bug in Docker). It’s noted in the manual, along with the steps required to restore your configuration after each reboot.
