Hi, I have just set up another Xibo CMS in a school.
I have installed the latest Xibo versions for both CMS and Android.
The CMS is working ok and under the address http:xibo.carrigtwohillcc.ie.
This is hosted by Blacknight on a shared server.
On the android device i can connect via a browser with no issues.
When i try and connect to the CMS with the address and licence key it does not work. I have even changed the licence key a few times but to no avail. The address i enter is 100% correct.
No problem verifying the licence,
I would appreciate any advice. Spent hours uninstalling xibo and re-installing. No issues with the android device either as i have tried 2 different ones.
Regards,
Right, I think it fails even before it checks the server key.
On windows client if I try to connect to your CMS it just returns 404, even though I can access it in the browser.
Is there anything in CMS logs? at a guess probably not much.
You might need to have a look at your blacknight server logs and permissions.
Thanks Peter,
Nothing in the logs although i do see this:
Allow PHP to open external URLs You must have allow_url_fopen = On in your PHP.ini file for RSS Feeds / Anonymous statistics gathering to function
This isn’t ticked, there is an explanation mark.
Could this be a cause?
I am waiting on a response from Blacknight.
