# API configuration problem, consult your administrator error

i have cms 4.0.3 in IIS windows server. PHP v 8.2.4.0  
certs has in library folder. when call “authorize/index.php/access\_token” error  
{  
“error”: 0,  
“message”: “API configuration problem, consult your administrator”  
}  
help me

You should never have `/web` in your URL - this indicates a critical installation error. Only `web` should be served by your webserver, not everything underneath it.

I do not know if that will be the cause of the issue, but if you don’t fix that first you will have a terrible security risk.

This problem has been resolved by: web/api/authorize/index.php/access\_token

I’m pleased you have it solved, but I will say again that running Xibo incorrectly is a security risk and you should please configure your webserver according to the installation instructions.
