We have following Android box with Xibo Android Client running on it. CMS shows it has downloaded all the videos. There are 29 videos on our layout. Its been 2 days sometimes it plays whole video and sometimes it hangs in the middle of the video, Sometime it shows blank screen for 2 to 3 minute before showing the next video and sometimes skipping the videos in between.
We have played 500MB of video through USB and there was no problem
Non of the videos on the layout are more than 20MB. I have checked the display log and there are no errors. .
Can anyone please help?
Thanks

Just to check are you using 1.7.9 CMS and R62 Xibo for Android?
On your Android device in Xibo for Android, could you go to settings and:
Check Public storage
Select first item under storage options
That will make player to download the content again, please give it time and see if the playback will be better.
If that does not help you can also navigate to the Display settings page -> edit display profile assigned to your device -> troubleshooting tab -> Use Surface view…
Disable that checkbox, it will force your device to use TextureView rendering, which in some cases can improve video playback as well.
I tried the the setting you suggested but it didn’t resolve the problem. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the client with suggested setting. Created new layout. Added videos one by one. Until 5 videos it was working fine but last adding more video to layout it is again same problem. There are few videos which are 5 secs and we are using the loop function to play them until 14 secs.
Also yesterday I noticed in the files folder some of the videos were not fully loaded but CMS was showing complete e.g. file file size was 23 MB but only 3 MB was loaded and that is why video played for few secs and hanged.
There is a major problem with android client. I have attached the Display Error log below.
I have installed the android client 1.7 R63 pre release but we are still having this problem client is not syncing properly with CMS. Checking on our server there are some warnings coming under PHP processes. Please see below. We never had any warning prior to installing the CMS.
Are these something to do with the CMS?
Thanks
